Camino Nuevo Charter Academy

Camino Nuevo is committed to providing a high-quality education for your child. We also ask parents to make a commitment to be actively involved in your child’s education and at your school. Families that join our CNCA community pledge to contribute 15 hours of service annually and to attend two workshops during the year. The workshops help you maximize your impact on your child’s learning.

We offer a variety of different volunteer opportunities to fit almost any schedule. The school year provides a number of different chances to volunteer in your child’s classroom, in the school, and at special events. We are proud of our extraordinarily high level of parental involvement and we see the results in our students’ achievements.

We ask volunteers to follow these steps:

• Complete a volunteer application form and return it to the school’s main office
• Complete and sign the Parent Social Service Agreement and return it to the school’s main office
• Provide written evidence of a recent TB test every two years.

All volunteers receive an orientation to the school and/or assigned duties. Volunteers will be under the supervision of a staff member, and will be asked to keep all school information confidential.
