CNCA is committed to helping every student reach their full academic potential. We have high expectations for all, and expect to see great results. We use every means possible to evaluate student achievement, including state-wide assessments as well as benchmark examinations unique to CNCA. All of this information helps us understand how each student is progressing. In turn, this helps parents and teachers collaborate on ways to encourage further development in every student.
To help us collect and analyze all of this information, we use a web-based, online assessment management system called "Data Director"*. This system allows us to make the results of the various assessments transparent and understandable. Data Director is used by our teachers to create individualized student reports in both English and Spanish. These reports are then shared with parents and used to help make instructional decisions.
